Create an account
Sign up with your email address or WhatsApp number, confirm it with a code, and get ready to set up your organization.
Before you start
You need either an email address you can open or a WhatsApp number you can receive messages on. That is what you will sign in with, and where your verification code goes.
If a landlord or manager invited you, open their invitation link and register with the same email address or number they used. The invitation only attaches to an account that matches.
1. Open the registration page
On the OneView website, select Create account. From the sign-in page, select Register.
2. Choose how you sign up
Under Sign up with, pick one:
- Email: type your Email address. The code arrives in your inbox. Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it.
- WhatsApp: choose your Country code, for example +237 for Cameroon, then type your WhatsApp number without the country code. The code arrives as a WhatsApp message.
You use the same one to sign in later.
3. Choose a password and agree to the terms
Fill in Password and Confirm Password. Use at least 8 characters. Then tick the box to accept the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. You can't register without it.
Select Register.
4. Enter your verification code
The Verify Your Account screen opens. Type the 6-digit code in OTP Code and select Verify Account. You see "Your account has been successfully confirmed."
Until you verify, every page sends you back to this screen.
Sign up with Google instead
If you see a Google button under Or sign up with, you can use it instead of steps 2 and 3. Choose your Google account and you are signed in. You may still be asked for a verification code sent to your Google email address, and to accept the terms with I agree. Next time, one tap on the same button signs you in.
What happens next
A new account starts in the tenant view, because it doesn't belong to any organization yet. If you manage properties, the dashboard shows "Set up a space to manage properties" with a Create organization button. That is your next step.
If you are a tenant, there is nothing more to set up. Your landlord adds you to a lease, and your leases and invoices appear once they do.
Common problems
I didn't get my code
Select Resend OTP Code. For an email, look in spam or junk. For a number, check that it is a WhatsApp number and that you typed it correctly.
I typed the wrong email or number
On the verification screen, under "Not getting the code?", select Use an email or Use a number to send the code somewhere else. You can also select Sign out and register again and start again.
My email or number is already used
An account already exists for it. Go to the sign-in page and sign in, or use the forgotten password link there if you can't remember your password.
