Switch organizations and views
Move between the organizations you belong to, and between the personnel view and the tenant view.
Before you start
You can belong to several organizations, for example one you own and one where you were invited as a Manager. You work in one at a time, called your active organization. Its name shows at the top of the menu under "Workspace".
You may also be a tenant of a landlord on OneView while managing properties yourself. The personnel view is your work as staff. The tenant view is your own leases and invoices. You switch between the two with one button.
1. Switch to another organization
In the menu, select Organization. You see a card for each organization you belong to, with its number of properties and tenants. The active one is marked Current.
On the card of the organization you want, select Switch to this organization. You see "Switched organization successfully." and every screen now shows that organization's properties, tenants and invoices.
2. Switch between personnel view and tenant view
At the bottom of the menu, select Switch to Tenant View to see your own leases, invoices, maintenance requests and announcements as a tenant. Select Switch to Personnel View to return to your organization.
The button only shows if you are an active member of at least one organization. On a phone, open the menu first.
What happens next
The choice sticks. You come back to the same organization and the same view the next time you sign in.
If you tap a notification that belongs to the other view or another organization, OneView asks "This notification is in another workspace". Select Switch and open to switch and open it, or Not now to stay where you are.
Common problems
An organization is missing from my list
The list only shows organizations where you are an Active member. If you were invited, open the invitation link and select Approve first. If your access was suspended or removed, ask an Owner or Administrator of that organization.
I don't see the switch view button
You need an active membership in an organization to use the personnel view. If you only have a tenant account, there is nothing to switch to. To start your own organization, see Create an organization.
My tenant view is empty
The tenant view only shows what a landlord has linked to you. Until an organization adds you to a lease, it says "You're not linked to a property yet". A landlord whose organization is still in draft doesn't appear in your tenant view either, and your lease shows once they go live.
I can't find my properties
Check which organization is active, and that you are in the personnel view. Properties belong to one organization each, so they show up only while that organization is the active one.
